Young Musical Trio Raps and Gives Back

Years ago, three brothers discovered their passion for performance. While building a fan base they have also been able to give back to the community in a positive way. This holiday season they invite you to join them for a special event that will help out others and is sure to entertain.

The music young people listen to, and the influence of today’s pop-stars, seems to be a constant controversial topic. Even the youngest entertainers often appear in a negative light for unbecoming behavior or inappropriate lyrics. A local group of young male rappers is offering the style of music that appeals to young ears without offensive messages. Actually, TripTerror Inc. has been a fixture at awareness events, fundraisers, and community gatherings. Their motto is “Be Different. Be Unique. Don’t Be an Echo. Be a Voice”. While the message may be one welcomed by parents, the music and good times are what catches the attention of their young fans.

Brothers Jayln, Christian and Josiah (stage names Frost, Young C. and Casper) first started putting together dancing routines to compete in the neighborhood. Music naturally followed and the boys formed a group with a few other friends. Eventually the others split from the group, leaving the three brothers to define their own sound and style. Since then they have recorded several songs, some originals and some remixes of popular songs heard on the radio with the group’s own youthful twists. Their strong upbringing in the church and moral values have stayed with them throughout their journey. These young men are dedicated to developing their craft and learning as much about the entertainment industry as possible. They are hardworking young men who hope their positive attitudes will be admired in an arena that often lacks good role models.

Now TripTerror has growing support from fans and perform regularly in the greater Houston area. They want to give young people in Houston a group of performers to rally behind and call their own. They will be hosting a free concert event on Friday, December 13th, 2013 at FunPlex located at 13700 Beechnut in Houston, Texas from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. This “Eyes Wide Open” benefit concert will also serve as a Toy Drive and fundraiser for The Star of Hope Mission. The event will feature other young artists, prizes, giveaways and more. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
