UH Hosts Former Navy SEAL, Greitens, at ‘First Lecture’

Decorated veteran and former Navy SEAL Eric Greitens is the featured speaker at the UH College of Education’s “First Lecture, Mission: Possible.” Greitens is the CEO of the nonprofit group “The Mission Continues” that motivates veterans to remain leaders in their community. He started the group with combat pay from his Iraqi deployments. Greitens will speak to future educators about the importance of commitment, compassion and resolve in pursuing goals—personal or professional. It is the first event of the semester, intended to inspire and motivate students as they begin their studies.

“First Lecture, Mission: Possible” is planned for 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 24 at the UH Cullen Performance Hall.

Eric Greitens is available for interviews. Please let me know if you’d like me to connect you with him. If you’d like images of Greiten, please let me know.
