Sheila Jackson Lee, Representative of the 18th Congressional District of Texas Local officials and business owners meet to discuss impact of Oil Spill
With BP officials running out of options facing the current catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico, government officials and Members of Congress are joining forces with BP to determine actions that need to be taken in order to end the oil spill. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Chair of the Homeland Security’s Subcommittee on Transportation Security and Infrastructure, will be visiting the Gulf Coast region to survey affected areas and meet with local farmers, fishermen and business owners affected by the recent disaster.
