Top Houston African Americans Come Out to Receive their Awards sponsored and event last night that honored Houston’s elite business professionals.  The 2nd Annual Top 50 Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs Awards Ceremony presented by d-mars Business Journal was hosted at The HESS Club.

The event recognized industry leaders, including Living Legends Deavra A. Daughtry and Rev. William Lawson; Super Trailblazer Patricia Simmons Guillory; Trailblazers such as Bill Russell of Momentum BMW, Joi and Corey Venison of Super Weave Xpress, Gerald W. Womack and Commissioner Michael Shane Sinegal; Community Heroes such as Bun B, Frenchy’s Chicken owner Percy P. Creuzot, III and activist Ovide Duncantell; Supplier Diversity Champions; as well as Super, Top and Up and Coming Professionals and Entrepreneurs.
