The Houston West Chamber of Commerce welcomes Kim Davis to speak to their members about leadership. Davis uses her sports background and the upcoming football season to help business leaders make the fourth quarter of the year their best. Her talk is called ”The QB (Quarterback) in Me” and it’s all about taking charge and having a game plan. She will teach the audience how to identify the plays they need to move their business toward the goal line.

Wednesday, August 26, 2015 – 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Capital Grille – City Center

Kim Davis is President of The KD Company, a media and communications consulting company that provides video production, media training, community engagement, strategic communications planning and features “Chalk Talk”, a basic sports communications series for women. This former Super Bowl Vice President and entrepreneur honed her skills in negotiations, managing expectations, and crisis management. 25 years of working in locker rooms, with team owners, industry executives, sponsors and rabid sports fans has given her an abundance of real life insights.

Building on her more than two decades of media experience, Kim has branched out as a keynote and motivational speaker; independent producer/host; corporate communications consultant and media project manager. Her media experience includes broadcasting, writing and talking about news, sports and politics locally and nationally. Rooted in the Houston community and committed to sports, she played an integral role in the planning of Super Bowl XXXVIII as Vice President of External Relations.
