THE HISPANIC HERITAGE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES THE 24th ANNUAL HISPANIC HERITAGE AWARDS HONOREES

WASHINGTON, DC – On September 29, 2010, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) and ExxonMobil will present the 24th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards and carry on the rich tradition of annually honoring a bevy of notable Latino leaders and luminaries during a celebration of Hispanic Excellence, Accomplishments and Promise. The black tie award show, to be held at the Washington DC’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, will feature a host of dazzling appearances and stunning performances by world-renowned Latin entertainers paying tribute to the 2010 Hispanic Heritage Awards Honorees.

The Hispanic Heritage Awards were established in 1987 by the White House to commemorate the creation of Hispanic Heritage Month. Since then, the The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF), through the Hispanic Heritage Awards, has honored Latino leaders who have made a positive impact in the United States in various fields and served as role models. The Hispanic Heritage Awards are considered the highest honor for Latinos by Latinos cultural superstars who will convene and stand alongside physicians, educators, public officials, community and business leaders, and even young leaders, in celebration of their achievements.
