THE BLACK WALL STREET: A LESSON OF SUCCESS THROUGH UNITY

Prairie View, TX — S.I.F.E (Students In Free Enterprise) — an entrepreneurial-minded student body of Prairie View A&M University will kick off Black History Month 2010 by highlighting the historical Black Wall Street extravaganza.

Event organizer, Harun Jones — a student alum at the historically Black university — said “I am very passionate about the Black community and our potential to succeed economically far beyond the world’s imagination.”
One of the highlights of the event will be guest speaker Craig L. Amos, founder & CEO of the Houston Black Book African American Business Directory and Black- WallStreetNow.com. “I hold every confidence that a gathering of young entrepre- neurial minds like this is significant. It’s evidence that they are ready to take action. No, more than that. These young eagles are ready to propel into a new era with such vigor, it will be unavoidable to not attain well-balanced growth financially, in- tellectually and with a greater sense of community adhesion. For this reason alone
Craig L. Amos I am proud to be a part of the Black Wall Street extravaganza,” Amos added.

This event will be held in the Memorial Student Center also known as the MSC which is located on Prairie View’s campus. The time and date of the event is February 1, 2010 starting at 7 p.m. The event is open to the general public and we encourage questions and discussions. For more information about the event please contact Harun Jones via phone at 973-280-2755 or email makaveli0973@yahoo.com.
