Texas Southern MBB set to host Alabama State on ESPNU

HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers will host three consecutive home games on Saturday and Monday followed by the second installment of TSU versus Prairie View A&M on Saturday, February 2nd. The Tigers completed a two-game SWAC road swing with a loss to Arkansas-Pine Bluff and a victory over Mississippi Valley State and. AAMU and ASU both enter their meetings with TSU right in the thick of things in SWAC play. Alabama A&M is led by first year head coach Willie Hayes. The Bulldogs captured a non-conference win over Mississippi State earlier this season. ASU is lead by Lewis Jackson who lead the Hornets to a SWAC title in 2009. Texas Southern’s contest versus Alabama State will be broadcast live on ESPNU on Monday at 6:00 pm.
