Make plans to attend Seeding Minds. There will be celebrity guest appearances, including teen sensation Baby Jay, the first rapper and the youngest to receive a key to the city of Houston. Motivational speakers Dr. Wendy Johnson and Jesse Muhammad will speak to the kids about self-esteem and the importance of education.

Each child will leave with a greater love for learning, plus many great prizes from our sponsors. Also, every child will receive a book to start or add to their personal library. Special thanks to all of our sponsors: AMERIGROUP Community Care, Comerica Bank, Dreyer’s Ice Cream, Shipley Do-nuts, Houston Cares, Scholastic Books, City of Houston Teen Services, Houston Area Urban League, Texas Women’s Empowerment Foundation, Houston Youth Fourtion Entertainment and Houston Independent District.
