Republic of Niger Energy Delegation Takes Kind To Houston During Visit

Niger Minister of Energy and Oil Visits with Houston Energy Leaders and Local Government Officials

As Houston steadily gains more attention as a leading international city of energy, economic growth and trade, delegations from around the world find purpose to pay a visit. By invitation of the Mayor’s International Trade and Development Council for Africa (MITDC-Africa), a delegation of Niger Energy leaders will be visiting Houston today and tomorrow.

The Republic of Niger delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Foumakoye GADO – Minister of Energy & Oil of Niger Republic, His Excellency Mr. Maman Sidikou – Ambassador of Niger to the U.S., Mr. Oumarou ALI BEIDI – The Niger Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy and Oil, and Mr. Adolphe GBAGUIDI – Niger Director General of Hydrocarbons.

The primary objective of the delegation is to share information about opportunities available to interested Texas and US companies in the areas of exploration and development in Oil & Gas, and Mining industries, as well as Power Generation initiatives in the Republic of Niger, under the Ministry of Energy and Oil.

As Houston welcomes this important delegation of leaders, we look forward to the future outcome of this visit and many others like it.
