New Website Resource Launched for After-School Programs; www.afterschoolzone.org

Go to www.afterschoolzone.org for after-school resources for students in grades pre-k through 12

Parents can find after-school resources for students in pre-k through high school by accessing www.afterschoolzone.org .

The resource site is hosted by the Cooperative for After-School Enrichment (CASE), a division of Harris County Department of Education, and funded by Houston Endowment Inc.

Afterschoolzone.org is a virtual meeting place to share after-school resources and best practices. Families access “the zone” for after-school activities throughout greater Harris County. Activities are typically located in schools, neighborhood centers, business centers and public libraries and parks.

After-school providers can enter information at no cost about their programs.

About CASE: CASE provides after-school programs in 100 after-school sites in Harris County for about 12,000 students in elementary through high school in greater Harris County. The CASE mission is to strengthen, support and sustain after school for all children.
