Cyber security was the topic of a homeland security seminar attended by several dozen area local executive leaders at Harris County Department of Education in northeast Houston. The Houston Urban Area Cyber Seminar facilitated by the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security was held July 24 and hosted by the Center for Safe and Secure Schools, a division of HCDE.
The seminar included cyber-security video scenarios and international cyber-security threat findings. Attendees included leaders from the city of Houston, Harris County, Fort Bend County and Montgomery County. The Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security is the nation’s homeland security educator.
