Notes: Houston’s Voice is part of Comcast’s Project Open Voice (POV) initiative, a six-market, online and OnDemand test program to improve the reach and broaden the diversity of local programming, public, educational and governmental (PEG) media and content from community-based organizations. Houstonwill be the first of the six Comcast selected POV pilot cities to announce the launch of its beta website.

Houston’s Voice is a web portal dedicated to supporting the real people, organizations, communities and events that make Houston a great place to live, work and play. Content originates from PEG partners, community-based organizations and independent producers. Mayor Parker, the City of Houston, and many local stakeholders have been integral to the development of Houston’s Voice.
