The Youth Service Institute is a leading professional development conference for adults and youth, sponsored by Youth Service America (YSA). The 9th annual event will be held in Houston, October 17-19, 2012, at the Westin Galleria Hotel, 5060 W. Alabama, Houston, TX, 77056.
The institute introduces the latest and most effective strategies for quality implementation of youth community engagement and service-learning. Attendees network, learn and plan together. More than 300 attendees are expected, including nonprofit community leaders, educators and youth from across the country. YSA will highlight Global Youth Service Day, the largest service event in the world, and Semester of Service, an extended service learning program.
The pre-registration deadline is Friday, October 12, 2012. On-site registration will be available. Full conference registration is $250 for adults and $150 for youth.
