HOUSTON, TX – AUGUST 23, 2011 — Marcus Davis, who is the guiding force behind one of Houston’s most popular restaurants, the breakfast klub, will share motivational words with the staff of the Fort Bend Family Health Center, Inc..

Although, Mr. Davis would prefer to be called tbk’s Chief Steward, he has turned his casual family style restaurant into a national stopping place for people from all over the world. the breakfast klub has been recognized as one of the “best breakfast restaurants in the nation” by Good Morning America, USA Today, Esquire and Forbes. Davis leads his staff each opening day with a motivational ceremony that puts them all on the right foot to greet their waiting customers that queue up as early at 6:00 a.m.

The Fort Bend Family Health Center’s Chief Operating Officer Frankie Rodriquez wants Davis to share his secret of establishing a motivated team culture in the midst of change during their staff meeting being held September 1, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds. The center is currently going through a major renovation in order to continue to provide their patients with the best care possible. The Fort Bend Family Health Center is private, non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center and a United Way Agency with a staff of 150 that provides medical, dental, and counseling services to the under-insured and uninsured of Fort Bend County and the surrounding areas.

Inspired by a passion to provide the people of Houstonwith good food served in a soulful atmosphere, Marcus Davis established the breakfast klub in 2001. Zagat rated, the breakfast klub is a casual family style restaurant decorated with modern art, lush plants and wood tables. tbk is a must stop for residents and visitors to savor the wings and waffles, katfish and grits, and order breakfast all day long.
