Houston S.E.A.C. Collaborates with CCM Foundation and Collegiate Cancer Council to Win 2011 Most Outstanding Educational Program Award at University of Houston

Houston, TX. – CCM Foundation and Collegiate Cancer Council were awarded the 2011 Most Outstanding Educational Program at the 27th Annual Campus Leaders Reception at the University of Houston.

The winning program, Well Woman Extravaganza, is a collaborative effort between Houston S.E.A.C., CCM Foundation and the Collegiate Cancer Council.

“We are thrilled and honored to win this prestigious award,” said CCM Foundation Director of Marketing, Corey Green, “We look forward to
continuing to sponsor community events that impact the lives of so many women on the University of Houston campus.”

Since 2009, the event has provided HIV/STD testing, HPV/cervical cancer immunizations and education, breast cancer education and screening services,
and other health screenings to over 600 people.

This event is held in the Fall semester and is free for college students, as well as, the general public.
