HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE HOLDS HEARING ON UNITED-CONTINENTAL MERGER

IN RESPONSE TO REQUEST BY CONGRESSWOMAN JACKSON LEE, THE HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE WILL HOLD A HEARING ON IMPACT OF THE UNITED-CONTINENTAL MERGER

Who: U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on the Judiciary

What: A hearing on “Competition in the Airline Industry”

Where: 2141 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, DC

When: June 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.

Why: The hearing is in response to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s letter of May 3, 2010 to Chairman John Conyers of the House Judiciary Committee, requesting a hearing on the proposed merger between two of the nation’s largest airlines, United and Continental.
