HOUSTON, TX (December 18, 2012) – Passionate about giving a fashionable gift to family and friends this holiday season? Then, we invite you to share the gift of education for students enrolled in fashion and interior design studies at Houston Community College. Your gift will sponsor a seat or table for students to attend one of Houston’s hottest fashion events next spring – Passion for Fashion featuring Terron Schaefer of NBC’s reality show “Fashion Star.”
In support of Houston’s internationally-renowned Fashion and Interior Design Programs at Houston Community College, the HCC Design Society is hosting its annual “Passion for Fashion” fundraising luncheon Thursday, February 28, 2013 to benefit the students of Houston Community College. Now in its fifth year, the luncheon will be held at the Wortham Theater in the Grand Foyer, 500 Texas Avenue. There will be a reception at 11:30 a.m., with the luncheon beginning at 12:00 p.m.
This year’s luncheon will feature celebrity guest Terron Schaefer, Executive Vice President & Chief Creative Officer, Saks Fifth Avenue and Featured Buyer for Saks on NBC’s reality competition series, “Fashion Star.” The luncheon will also honor 2013 HCC Design Society Fashion Icon Sheridan Williams.
A gift of $250 will sponsor a seat for an HCC fashion or interior designer student to attend the luncheon and learn from a style expert what it takes to be the next big brand in fashion. Sponsor tables of 10 are also available, starting at $2,500. While you’re at it, why not treat yourself to a seat at this not-to-be-missed Houston style event benefitting HCC fashion and interior design students.
