This year begin the holiday celebrations early with your family and friends at the Houston Public Library (HPL). The celebration kicks off with a visit by children’s best-selling author Anna Dewdney. Author and illustrator of children’s books, Dewdney is best known for the “Llama Llama” picture book series, as well as “Roly Poly Pangolin,” “Grumpy Gloria,” and “No Bunny’s Perfect.” The event takes place on Saturday, December 8 at 11am at the McGovern-Stella Link Neighborhood Library, 7405 Stella Link, 77025, 832-393-2630. This event is part of HPL’s annual holiday event; the Season’s Readings series. The program is free and open to the public.

HPL will also be offering many other fun programs for children; all free and open to the public.
