GREATER HOUSTON PARTNERSHIP POSTPONES STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS WITH MAYOR PARKER

POTENTIAL SNOW / SLEET REASON FOR RESCHEDULING EVENT TO APRIL 15

As a result of the inclement weather that has affected the Houston area this week, the Greater Houston Partnership today has postponed its State of the City address with Mayor Annise Parker scheduled for Friday, Feb. 4 at the Hilton Americas Hotel. The new date for this event is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 15 at the Hilton Americas Hotel.

With forecasts predicting a mix of snow and sleet for most of the region for Thursday and early Friday, GHP officials decided it was prudent to postpone the yearly forum in which Houston’s mayor discusses past, present and future city trends.
