GEORGE GREANIAS TO DELIVER STATE OF METRO ADDRESS AT GREATER HOUSTON PARTNERSHIP EVENT

Serving 2,688 route miles with 10,000 bus stops encompassing 134 routes and 7.5 miles of light rail, METRO is a major player in the mobility of the population in the Houston region. With our population continuing to grow and with mobility in the region moving to the forefront of issues we must address, understanding the challenges and opportunities the multimodal transportation system faces is imperative to all future planning.

The Greater Houston Partnership will host George Greanias, president and CEO of METRO, as he discusses the “State of METRO.” Topics of discussion will include budget issues, an update on the status of various projects and operational restructuring.
