The San Jacinto College Central music department will present “Just for Fun, an Unusual Duo,” a concert that will showcase skilled musicians Eric Late, playing upright bass, and Kerry Jones, playing banjo.
The performance, which is free and open to the public, will be held May 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the Corbin Recital Hall, located inside the Monte Blue Music Building, 8060 Spencer Hwy. in Pasadena.
The two musicians will perform a diverse repertoire of tunes, from classical to jazz “with a little Bluegrass on the side.” Featured performances will include works by Bach, Lennon/McCartney, Django Rienhardt, Francois Rabbath, Arlen/Hartburg, and others.
