HOUSTON, TX (Tuesday, December 18, 2012) — The Houston Dynamo will open the 2013 Major League Soccer season on Saturday, March 2, against D.C. United at BBVA Compass Stadium. Kickoff time and broadcast details for the match will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Dynamo are coming off their second consecutive trip to the MLS Cup Final and their fourth overall, and are currently riding a 30-game home unbeaten streak in all competitions. Houston holds a 9-4-2 advantage all-time over D.C. in the regular season and defeated United 4-2 on aggregate in last year’s Eastern Conference Championship series.
