Title: DR. STEPHEN KLINEBERG TO DISCUSS RESULTS FROM 30TH ANNUAL KINDER HOUSTON AREA SURVERY AT GHP LUNCHEON
Location: Hyatt Regency Houston – 1200 Louisiana Houston, TX 77002
Description: Rice sociology professor Dr. Stephen L. Klineberg will present the results of the 30th Annual Kinder Houston Area Survey during a luncheon hosted by the Greater Houston Partnership and Rice’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research.

Dr. Klineberg will track the major changes that have occurred in the Houston area since the inception of the survey, which began as a project for his class in 1982. Conducted in the early spring of every year, the survey is the nation’s longest running study of any metropolitan area. The study focuses on shifts in attitudes, perceptions and demographic in Houston’s increasingly diverse population. The findings of the survey often play a prominent role in future planning of organizations such as GHP.
