Bold New Beauty Brand Gains Headway In Competition For Shelf Placement With National Retail Giant

D.I.D. Nail Paint, the break-through beauty brand for nail enthusiasts, artists and forward-thinking fashionistas, has advanced to the second round of Walmart’s 2013 “Get On The Shelf” contest.  The retail giant’s competition is designed to identify the next and best new products in 18 categories, giving budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to get their products placed on Walmart shelves nationwide and driven by daily votes from fans and supporters. Company CEO Adrienne Blanks, a licensed nail technician, esthetician and nail art enthusiast, created the eco-friendly, highly pigmented color collection designed to achieve full nail coverage in 1-2 coats.   Met with rave reviews from bloggers and beauty editors alike, the sassy moniker “Get Your Nails D.I.D.” which stands for designed in divinity, comes in four vibrant hues : ”billie jeans”, it’s deep blue offering, ”fancy”, a timeless light purple, ”free spirit”, a vibrant green and”honey child”, a sassy ode to yellow.

“As the daughter of an artist, I was always encouraged to embrace my creativity and I channeled that creative energy into the line of D.I.D. Nail Paints,” said Blanks.  No stranger to success, earlier this year Blanks was chosen as a Semi-Finalist and one of 50 rising entrepreneurs to participate in the Scion Motivate event, spending 3 days with other “motivators” from across the country in Los Angeles while learning valuable knowledge about running a business.
