A delegation of thirteen senior-level officials, chaired by Hon. Moussa Dosso, Senior Minister, Minister of Labor, Social Affairs & Professional Development, Mayor of Mankono, and accompanied by the Ambassador of Ivory Coast to the U.S., Hon. Daouda Diabate, where amongst the attendees of the Cote d’ Ivoire International Trade & Development Conference that took place at the Westin Oaks.
Africa in a broad sense is on the rise, and the Ivory Coast is a nation with billions of dollars in infrastructure needs. On his official three-day nation visit to foster trade with the African continent, President Obama recently signed a $7 billion energy development plan.
“The clearly stated intention of this delegation is to “present the opportunities in their country and to invite a trade mission of Texas companies to the Ivory Coast, which will be hosted by the President of Cote d’Ivoire”, said Attorney Gnoleba Seri, President & CEO of the African Chamber of Commerce in the US, the co-organizer of the Conference with Ama Love Consulting, a Houston-based consulting firm.
The conference presented a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to learn about international business development opportunities, and to network with these officials from the African continent.
