WHAT: Choice Partners Annual Food Expo

This event provides an opportunity for school district nutrition directors and students to taste and evaluate potential foods that could be made available through the Choice Partners cooperative. This is the 11th year for the event. Average attendance is approximately 250 child nutrition directors and staff and 300 students. Student badges indicate if they can be photographed.
Choice Partners cooperative provides legal, competitively bid contracts for groceries, dairy products, bread, produce and other food products. These food contracts provide purchasing solutions for school food service and school cafeteria food. In the greater Houston area, schools serve more than 600,000 meals to students each day, with many of the food products purchased using the Choice Partners contracts.
