Black Girls Rock Awards Producer coming to Houston

Constance Orlando, VP of BET Network and Executive Producer of Black Girls Rock Awards, keynote speaker at 2013 Seminar presented by ME & WE, Inc.

ME&WE, Inc today announced that registration is open for their 2013 Seminar designed by and for women – from the “Household CEO” to the stay at home mom – to achieve their dreams with balance. This seminar is focus on women gaining balance in their personal lives in order to reach their unprecedented heights on November 9, 2013 from 8am -12pm held at Hilton North Hotel (12400 Greenspoint Dr. Houston, TX 77060).  Tickets can be purchased at, general admission is $50.

The conference will host more than 5 distinguished speakers, including business leader, entrepreneurs, and award –winning business coach.  Keynote speakers include Constance Orlando, the Executive Producer of Black Girls Rock Awards and Vice President of BET, Ivette Mayo the Hispanic spokeswoman for AARP and award-winning business consultant, Nikki Woods the Executive Producer for the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Dr Sabrina Jackson the world renown “The People Expert” and therapist and Sonya Sloan, M.D. founder of ME& WE, Inc and motivational speaker.  This seminar wants to spread the message about the need for women to support each other and how to overcome adversity.

This seminar plans to bring 300+ women to discuss the importance of Economic empowerment, Health Awareness and spiritual enrichment.  It is becoming a quick reality that women are a dominant force in the global market, workplace, and households but many lack unbalanced lives that leads to poor finances, health and mental health.  ME&WE, Inc will be sharing tips for women to start and grow a small business, health tips, spiritual balance and ways to refuel personal relationships.

“We (women) need to understand we can have it all but our lives must have balance first”, said Dr. Sonya Sloan.

ME & WE, Inc is a nonprofit organization that focuses on nurturing women within a diverse environment through leadership programs, mentoring, and teaching life tools to assist women who are tapping into increasing opportunities.
