Bee Busy Wellness Center Ceremony to Mark the Start of Renovations, “Breaking Down the Walls”

In a continuing effort to serve the low-income, under-served, under-insured and un-insured residents of Southwest Houston; Bee Busy Wellness Center (BBWC) CEO Norman Mitchell announced the establishment of a new 8,640-square-foot flagship facility located at 8785 West Belfort (Corner of West Bellfort and S. Gessner). The eagerly anticipated opening is Spring 2014.  The ceremony to mark the starting renovations, “Breaking Down the Walls”, was held on Thursday, January 30, 2014. In attendance were BBWC Board of Directors, Council member Larry Green, District K and community stakeholder organizations such as Royce White’s Anxious Minds, Gateway to Care, Bethel’s Place, Brays Oaks Management District, ECHOS, Methodist Hospital Systems, BPSOS, Inc, PharmBlue, Gilead Sciences, Houston Healthcare Alliance, Welch Middle School, Safe Haven Community Services just to name a few.
