Aviation Wonderland on Display at Bush Intercontinental Airport Festival


Airport Rangers on horseback, vintage and modern aircraft, and live entertainment, on the tarmac at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), will be part of the feast for aviation enthusiasts, during the 27th annual IAH Airport Appreciation Festival, Saturday, March 27, 2010, from noon until 4:00 p.m. The festival – sponsored by the Northwest Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the Houston Airport System (HAS) – includes food, prizes, exhibitors, and events – provided by Continental Airlines, inside its’ 777 hangar. The Northwest Chamber of Commerce uses proceeds from this event, to provide scholarships to area youth, interested in the aviation industry.
