Building Better Communities through Lifelong Learning

Sugar Land, Texas – On Monday October 8, 2012, golfers will tee off for community service at the 12th Annual Pink on the Green® Golf Tournament. Players from across the Houston area and as far away as Alaska will take to the immaculate Sugar Creek Golf Course located at 420 Sugar Creek Boulevard in Sugar Land, Texas. In addition to a great day of golf, players will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of youth, living in Fort Bend and Harris Counties. Donated funds allow our volunteers to fulfill service goals which include educational initiatives and community outreach such as an annual scholarship program, annual essay and art contest, FBISD diversity conference, mental health symposium, senior citizen residential home, teen financial literacy seminars, annual blood drives and reading is fundamental week. All tournament net proceeds benefit the programs and services of the 501C3 organization, Julia F. Thompson, Inc.
