Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport Welcomes Spirit Airlines

Houston, TX – (September 18, 2012) – On Thursday, September 20, 2012, Officials from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Spirit Airlines will celebrate the carrier’s new service at the airport. IAH will welcome the airline with a “water salute” over the arriving aircraft followed by a press conference, ribbon cutting and proclamation presentation. Reporters and photographers will be able to access the airfield to see arriving flight. Airport and airline officials will be on hand for one-on-one media availability immediately following formal presentations.
