Mayor, HUD and Community Leaders Announce Target Areas to Receive $151M Disaster Recovery Funds

Mayor Parker, Assistant Secretary Márquez and community leaders will formally announce the planned investment of $151 million in target areas for housing and community development activities. The City is slated to receive these federal Disaster Recovery funds from the State’s General Land Office.
The announced initiative aims to maximize the impact of community development funds, by strategically concentrating resources in Houston’s neighborhoods in greatest need of revitalization.
