Maybach Music Group’s Teedra Moses Performs in Houston for the 1st Time Ever

HOUSTON, Texas, April 5, 2012: a2zPresents brings to Houston the First Lady of Maybach Music Group, Teedra Moses to Warehouse Live on April 28 2012. This will be Moses’ first ever Texas tour. Tickets are $25 presale at

Teedra, also known as the Lioness, can best be remembered for her highly respected, 2004 album Complex Simplicity. The force behind this album garnered much attention and solidified the makings of a fan base that can be clearly heard crooning the lyrics to each song at every concert posted via YouTube. Her tell-it-to-you-straight lyrics and “champagne soul” vibes captured the attention of many of the respected R&B Divas making way for chances to write for the likes of Mary J Blige, Trina, and Macy Gray. So it is no surprise that at the construction of his Maybach empire, Rick Ross, a fan of Teedra, approached the singer/songwriter to be included alongside Hip Hop’s dapper young lyricist Wale and newcomer Meek Mills.

You can hear Teedra’s chops displayed in the Maybach Music Self Made Compilation Vol. 1 and her latest track “Another LuvR”, featuring Wale. This release precedes the long-awaited, album Lioness anticipating release this year.

Moses’ showcase is slated to be a Warehouse Live premier, which is conveniently nestled just behind the George R Brown Convention Center.
