Houston, TX, February 8, 2012 – This Saturday, Feb. 11th, LookOut Arts Collective will be holding an arts festival at Bohemeos in Eastwood. This free event will feature art, music, food and a “market of ideas.” Representatives from Occupy Houston will be participating in the event.

Starting at noon, six bands will perform, including Howler, Disfrutalo!, Paul English and Carlee Goins, Second Lovers, Permanent Daylight, and Danny Painter and Friends. Paul English has played with such artists as Sammy Davis Jr. and Dizzy Gillespie. Also featured will be a “market of ideas,” or a free exchange of thoughts, concerning a variety of topics such as economics, progressivism and the Occupy movement. This discussion will include community organizers from Good Jobs=Great Houston, the Green Party, Students for a Democratic Society and others all gathered together in the name of art, love, and education, LookOut Arts Collective’s mantra. Everyone is welcome at Bohemeos; they’re a small café, art gallery and music venue with great vegetarian options, wine, beer, and some of the best coffee in town. Bohemeos is located at 708 Telephone Rd., Houston Tx., 77023, less than a mile from the University of Houston.
