International Trade Center to Host Inaugural Grand Ball 2011 Dec. 9

The International Trade Center of Houston will host its Inaugural Grand Ball ‘The Winter White Night’ on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 6:30PM in the Westin Galleria Hotel. The event will include a Reception, Dinner, Awards Ceremony, Silent Auction, and cultural entertainment from around the world.

The Honorary Host Committee Chair is the Honorable Charles Foster, the Honorary Consul General of Thailand,and Honorary Grand Ball Chair is Mr. Chris Wilmot, President of WCW International, Inc. and Chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership World Bank Task Force. The Grand Ball Co-Chairs are the Honorable Gordon Quan and Mrs. Sylvia Quan, and the Steering Committee Chairs are Ms. Munira Panjawani and Mr. Munir Ibrahim. Members of the Houston diplomatic corps will be in attendance, having donated unique items for both the display area and the silent auction.

Both local and global leaders will be recognized for their outstanding achievements in business, the professions, education, and social services. Houston’s own Mr. Robert Sakowitz will be honored for his lifetime success and achievement in the world of business and fashion and for inaugurating the Houston International Festival. The keynote speaker will be Mr. James T. Edmonds, Chairman of the Port of Houston Authority.

The International Trade Center of Houston is a 501c 4 non-partisan membership organization of corporations and individuals representing all ethnic groups in the United States, especially those in the Houston Community.
