Congressman Al Green unveils Texas 9th Congressional District’s winner of the Annual Congressional Art Competition

The winner will be eligible for a $1,500/year scholarship at the Savannah (GA) College of Art and Design and will be invited by Southwest Airlines to travel to Washington D.C., where his/her work will be exhibited in the Capitol’s Cannon tunnel for a whole year.

Congressman Al Green and high school students of the Texas 9th Congressional District who participated in the Annual Congressional Art Competition and their parents.

WHAT:
Exhibit of the entries received by Congressman Al Green’s Houston offices and unveiling of the winning entry.
