“Continental Airlines Should Stay Put.”
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee vowed today to work tirelessly to keep Continental Airlines based in Houston.
Numerous press reports have said that merger and airport relocation discussions between United Airlines and Continental Airlines could mean that the new airline’s headquarters would be relocated to Chicago.

“Continental Airlines Should Stay Put”
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will hold a press conference Monday, April 26, at 11 AM to urge Continental Airlines to remain in Houston despite merger talks between Continental and United Airlines.
Rep. Jackson Lee is chairwoman of the Transportation Security and Infrastructure Protection Subcommittee of the Homeland Security Committee.
