Texas Warriors was founded by Crosby’s High Schools girl’s basketball head coach, Coach Rhea Guillory. Her goal for the Texas Warriors is to promote amateur basketball in the Barrett Station/Crosby and surrounding areas that will foster an environment of sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents and others involved in basketball; to provide opportunities for amateur basketball players to engage in challenging competition and to help players in developing their physical and fundamental basketball skills. This is the second season for Texas Warriors and already off to a promising start. With the help of Coach Roland Flannel and Eric Smith the girls go through extensive training weekly to develop their skills, coordination and fundamentals of the game to help enhance their skills. Coach Guillory emphasizes that her training is not just to develop basketball skills, but life skills as well as building their confidence and molding them into productive citizens of our community.

Texas Warriors will be sponsoring a Car Wash on April 10, 2010 @ McDonald’s Restaurant in Crosby Texas from 8-2 to help raise money for the National Championship Tournament in Dallas Texas. We would love for you to come out and support our efforts. For more information, contact Angel Curry @ 281-839-5159 or via email @
