Let The Fashions Begin, Inc. Will Present Distinguished Men Who Will Walk The Runway To Raise Funds For Texas Children’s Hospital Sickle Cell Center
Houston,,,, Let The Fashions Begin, Inc. will have its 15th annual Men of Style Gala on Thursday, November 4TH at the J. W. Marriott Hotel, 5150 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77056. The 2010 Men of Style honorees are professional and civic-minded men who will be recognized for their fashion savvy and contribution to the community.
Judge Clarease Rankin Yates, founder/director of Let The Fashions Begin, Inc., is proud to welcome Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. as a supporter by providing the business, casual and formal attire that our honorees will be showing off on our runway.
The Gala chairpersons are Constance Charles and Joyce Tyler- Williams and honorary chairs are State Representative Elect Ronald E. and Dr. Jonita Reynolds and William “Bill” and Melissa King.

The 2010 Men of Style Living Legends are Wash Allen, Host, “Confessions” with Wash Allen Radio and The Wash Allen TV Show; Dr. Lee P. Brown, former Mayor of Houston, Texas; and Adrian Garcia, Harris County Sheriff.
Proceeds from the Gala will benefit Texas Children’s Hospital Sickle Cell Center, under the direction of Dr. Brigetta U. Mueller.

Clarease Rankin Yates created “Let The Fashions Begin” in 1995 to raise funds for the
Sickle Cell Association of Gulf Texas; and in 2001 Let The Fashions Begin became an
independent non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation.
The mission of “LFB” is to accelerate the discovery of a total cure for sickle cell disease.
This event has successfully raised over a quarter of a million dollars for sickle cell research over the past several years.
Serving nearly 500 children from the Houston area alone, Texas Children’s Sickle Cell
Center offers the services of a multidisciplinary team, including board-certified pediatric
hematologists, pediatric nurse’s practitioners and social workers, all with expertise in sickle cell disease. Through its affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine, the Center also assists patients in making the transition from pediatric to adult sickle cell care. Dr. Brigitta U.Mueller is the Director of the TCSCC.
