Top Ladies Of Distinction-Houston Chapter Kick Off Buffalo Soldiers Museum’s $4.1 Million Capital Campaign

On Thursday, March 27, 2008 the Top Ladies of Distinction-Houston Chapter hosted a capital campaign to raise $4.1 million for a new Buffalo Soldiers Museum.
The money is needed to secure the future of this fantastic museum – the only one of its kind in the country. Once the renovation of the historic Houston Light Guard Armory located on Caroline and Alabama is complete, the museum will be 23,000 square feet. The expansion will include expanded exhibit space, a 1,400 square foot theater, meeting facilities, a research/computer center, ample paved parcking, an archival preparation center, and a global studies program through Houston Community College.
