Motiva Port Arthur Refinery Expansion Groundbreaking Ceremony

Motiva Enterprises LLC (a joint venture between Shell Oil Company and Saudi Refining) has announced that it will expand its Port Arthur refinery making it the largest refinery in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. This expansion will increase the refinery’s crude oil throughput capacity to 600,000 barrels per day. It is designed to strengthen our nation’s supply of gasoline, diesel, aviation fuels, and high quality base oils.
